Guild, Carolyn (nature) Carolyn has always been inspired by the grand vistas that Ansel Adams photographed.The artist is often awestruck by the power and beauty that surrounds her, when high in the mountains during a quiet snowstorm or at times during the raging power of the sea as waves are thrust onto the shore, something captured so beautifully in her work. Carolyn is also often times moved by the stillness of the night, which is frequently the time when she is out with her camera. The camera captures the unseen ~ as water becomes vaporous, stars leave their trails in the heavens and clouds give the appearance of the aurora borealis. Carolyn Guild's photographs are mesmerizing and sometimes take you to another land. |
