For 30 years, Susan Spiritus has been a leader in the field of fine art photography. She began her career in 1976, opening the doors to the Susan Spiritus Gallery in Newport Beach, California, so that she could create opportunities to share her passion for photography and for collecting art with others.

Today, Spiritus handles the work of nearly 50 artists, including the work of such photographic luminaries as Ansel Adams, Ruth Bernhard, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Harry Callahan, Paul Caponigro, Eikoh Hosoe, Andre Kertesz, Jacques Henri Lartigue and George Tice.

Spiritus also represents many contemporary artists including California based artists Roman Loranc, Jeffrey Becom and Hiroshi Watanabe as well as others from across the country including George Tice, Julie Blackmon, Christopher Burkett, Dan Burkholder and Dave Anderson. What's more, she has made a point of identifying and cultivating the careers of many mid-career and emerging artists.

As one of the leading galleries dedicated to fine art photography, the Susan Spiritus Gallery works with private collectors and corporate clients to enhance and establish their collections. Today, Spiritus' counsel and insight is sought by individuals, museums, universities, and multi-national corporations throughout California and the country.

The Susan Spiritus Gallery is open by appointment. Please call 949.474.4321 for more information.
